Recreation Park - Asheville NC

These three images are different parts of the same structure, which appears to serve a number of purposes. Primarily a dam that restrains the mighty Swannanoa River & a bridge over the same.

This is downstream about 10 miles from the previous posts of the Swannanoa near Warren Wilson.

Experimenting with creating compositions of texture, value and pattern.

there is something about this photo that creeps me out, but cool

Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it.
That anything I do as art brings about a feeling in the viewer can only be taken as a compliment. Thanks.
the title says as much as the picture, i think. LookING through, but not TO look through. The texture is vey well done.

Hey, now that's an interesting observation. The title of this one 'was' to me a bit arbitrary, referening mostly to being able to see through the 2 holes at the bottom, but mostly a contrivance to tie it together with the other two in the series. Thanks for grounding it a bit for me - I like the title much better now.
ah, glad i could be of some use!
